KZ1000R.com Bike of the Month Dec 09.
R/A Biggs the bike was purchased in 96 as a true basket case, part 82 gpz 1100,part kz1000j within 2 years it was on the road as a street fighter but every winter I would add more period pieces, every piece on the bike is fabricated in my machine shop front and rear rotors,carriers,S1 points cover swing arm, rear sets, you name it I made it the swing arm has been done 3 times, started as a ZRX1100,made it fit, year after moved in the shock clevises, then the next year I used a S1 swing arm for dimensions
and cut, narrowed , re braced added a catch tank until no one can say "is that a ZRX swing arm" I get a big kick when guys ask if its a real one and I can reply.."EDDIE SIGNED IT" it is now ! last year was my last year of mods I stripped the frame ,welded in the S1 spec engine brace, hoops in front of the rear shocks for raising the bike, and steering stabilizer welded to frame as for the engine its punched out to weisco1170 with the 84 gpz1100 motor with 8 plug head and 4 dyna coils, don't know what else to add....not for sale :o) RICHARD Guelph Ontario Canada.
